sañjaya uvāca | duḥśāsanāya subahūn preṣayāmāsa sāyakān | mahārāja! tasmin samaye arjunena tava senā bhagāvitā duḥśāsane bahu-sāyaka-prahāraḥ kṛtaḥ |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾರಾಜ! ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿ, ದುಃಶಾಸನನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಪುನಃಪುನಃ ಬಾಣವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು.
संजय उवाच

Sanjaya reports to Dhritarashtra that Arjuna has driven back the Kaurava troops and then concentrates his attack on Duhshasana, showering him with many arrows.
