यदेक: समरे पार्थान्‌ सार्जुनानू समयोधयत्‌ । न चैनं पाण्डवा युद्धे वारयामासुरुल्बणम्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

yad ekaḥ samare pārthān sārjunānū samayodhayat |

na cainaṃ pāṇḍavā yuddhe vārayāmāsur ulbaṇam ||

Translation

ಅವನು ಸಮರಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಅರ್ಜುನನೊಡನೆ ಸೇರಿ ಪೃಥಾಪುತ್ರರೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಆದರೂ ಪಾಂಡವರು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಉಗ್ರ ವೀರನನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲಾರಿದರು।
