भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
सेन्द्रानपि रणे देवाञ्जयेयं जयतां वर । त्वया नाथेन गोविन्द किमु भीष्म॑ महारथम्
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | sendrān api raṇe devān jayeyam jayatāṃ vara | tvayā nāthena govinda kimu bhīṣmaṃ mahāratham ||
ಜಯಶೂರರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದ ಗೋವಿಂದನೇ! ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ನಾಥನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದ್ರನೊಡನೆ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜಯಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆ; ಹಾಗಿರಲು ಮಹಾರಥಿ ಭೀಷ್ಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯವೇನು ದೊಡ್ಡದು?
