भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
अनुज्ञातं तु पार्थेन मया कार्य न संशय: । अथवा फाल्गुनस्यैष भार: परिमितो रणे
anujñātaṃ tu pārthena mayā kāryaṃ na saṃśayaḥ | athavā phālgunasya eṣa bhāraḥ parimito raṇe ||
ಪಾರ್ಥನು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಮಾಡುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ—ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತೂ ಯುದ್ಧಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ (ಅರ್ಜುನ)ನಿಗೆ ಇದು ಅತಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದ ಭಾರವೇ.
