निमेषान्तरमात्रेण सज्यं चक्रे पिता तव । धनुष कट जानेपर आपके ताऊ कुरुकुलरत्न भीष्मने पुनः दूसरा धनुष हाथमें ले पलक मारते-मारते उसके ऊपर प्रत्यंचा चढ़ा दी

Transliteration

nimeṣāntaramātreṇa sajyaṃ cakre pitā tava |

Translation

ಧನುಸ್ಸು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತಕ್ಷಣ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಸಮಾನನಾದ ಕುರುಕುಲರತ್ನ ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಣ್ಣು ಮಿಟುಕಿಸುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾರನ್ನು ಏರಿಸಿದನು.
