Adhyāya 104 — Śikhaṇḍin-puraskāraḥ (Śikhaṇḍin as Vanguard) and Bhīṣma’s Counter-Advance
आर्ष्यशुद्धिं कथं चैव सौभद्र: परवीरहा । तन्ममाचक्ष्व तत्त्वेन यथावृत्तं सम संयुगे
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |
ārṣyaśuddhiṁ kathaṁ caiva saubhadraḥ paravīrahā |
tan mamācakṣva tattvena yathāvṛttaṁ raṇe saṁyuge ||
ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸಂಜಯ! ಶತ್ರುವೀರಹಂತಕನಾದ ಸುಭದ್ರಾಪುತ್ರನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಯಧರ್ಮಶುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯಮರ್ಯಾದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಿದನು? ನಡೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ತತ್ತ್ವವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು।
