क्वासाविति ततो राजन्‌ दुःशला वाक्यमत्रवीत्‌ । राजन! दुःशलाके ऐसा कहनेपर अर्जुनने उस बालकके पिताके विषयमें जिज्ञासा प्रकट करते हुए पूछा--“बहिन! सुरथ कहाँ है?' तब दुःशला बोली--

Transliteration

kvāsāv iti tato rājan duḥśalā vākyam abravīt |

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಆಮೇಲೆ, ಹೇ ರಾಜನ್, ದುಃಶಲಾ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ದುಃಶಲಾ ಹೀಗೆಂದಾಗ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಆ ಬಾಲಕನ ತಂದೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುತೂಹಲ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಕೇಳಿದನು—“ತಂಗಿ, ಸುರಥ ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ?” ಆಗ ದುಃಶಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದಳು—
