विदुरं पूजयित्वा च वैश्यापुत्र॑ समेत्य च

Transliteration

viduraṁ pūjayitvā ca vaiśyāputraṁ sametya ca

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ವಿದುರನನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ವೈಶ್ಯಾಪುತ್ರನನ್ನೂ ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ, ಯಥೋಚಿತ ಗೌರವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮುಂದುವರಿದರು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಧರ್ಮವು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಗೌರವದಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ।
