Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
भुजाभ्यां परिगृहौनां चुक्कुशु: परमार्तवत्,“इसकी बात सुनकर कुरुकुलकी सारी स्त्रियाँ इसे दोनों हाथोंसे पकड़कर अत्यन्त आर्त-सी होकर करुण विलाप करने लगीं
bhujābhyāṃ parigṛhītāṃś cukruśuḥ paramārtavat
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕುರುಕುಲದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಎರಡೂ ಭುಜಗಳಿಂದ ಆಲಿಂಗಿಸಿ ಹಿಡಿದು, ಪರಮ ಆರ್ಥಿಯಿಂದ ಕರుణವಾಗಿ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾ ಅಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
