राजर्ष नातिहृष्टोड्सि कच्चित् क्षेमं तवानघ । क्व गतो5सि कुतश्वैदमप्रीतिस्थानमागतम्
Transliteration
rājarṣir nātihṛṣṭo ’si kaccit kṣemaṃ tavānagha | kva gato ’si kutaś caivam aprītisthānam āgatam ||
Translation
“ರಾಜರ್ಷೇ! ನೀನು ಬಹಳ ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನಘ ರಾಜನೇ, ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಕ್ಷೇಮವೇ? ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ, ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಈ ಅಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ದುಃಖವು ನಿನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು?”
