स नगो वेश्मसंकीर्णो देवलोक इवाबभौ । वीरवर! उस पर्वतपर प्रण्यानुष्ठानके लिये बहुत-से गृह और आश्रम बने थे

Transliteration

sa nagaḥ veśma-saṅkīrṇo devaloka ivābabhau |

Translation

ಆ ಪರ್ವತವು ಅನೇಕ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ದೇವಲೋಕದಂತೆ ಶೋಭಿಸಿತು. ವೀರವರನೇ! ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಣ್ಯಾನುಷ್ಠಾನಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಮನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಶ್ರಮಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಣ್ಯಾತ್ಮರಾದ ಪುರುಷರು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ರೈವತಕ ಪರ್ವತದ ಆ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ವೃಷ್ಣಿವಂಶೀಯ ವೀರರ ವಿಹಾರಸ್ಥಳವಾಯಿತು. ಅನೇಕ ಗೃಹಗಳಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಗಿರಿಪ್ರದೇಶವು ದೇವಲೋಕಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.
