Chapter 57
वैशम्पायन उवाच उत्तड़कस्तु तथोक्त: स जगाम भरतर्षभ | मदयन्तीं च दृष्टवा स ज्ञापयत् स्वप्रयोजनम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Uttaṅkastu tathoktaḥ sa jagāma bharatarṣabha | Madayantīṃ ca dṛṣṭvā sa jñāpayat svaprayojanam ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಭರತಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಾ! ರಾಜನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಉತ್ತಂಕ ಮುನಿಯು ರಾಣಿ ಮದಯಂತಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಆಗಮನದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
