उत्तड़कं श्लक्षणया वाचा सान्त्वयन्निदमब्रवीत्‌ | उत्तंकके ऐसा कहनेपर महाबुद्धिमान्‌ जनार्दनने उन्हें मधुर वाणीद्वारा सान्त्वना देते हुए कहा--

Transliteration

Uttaṅkaṃ ślakṣaṇayā vācā sāntvayann idam abravīt | uttaṅkake aisā kahanepara mahābuddhimān janārdanane unheṃ madhura vāṇīdvārā sāntvanā dete hue kahā—

Translation

ಉತ್ತಂಕನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಮಹಾಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನಾದ ಜನಾರ್ದನನು ಮೃದುಮಧುರ ವಚನಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಾಂತ್ವನಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು—
