मानुष्ये वर्तमाने तु कृपणं याचिता मया । न च ते जातसम्मोहा वचो<गृह्नन्त मे हितम्‌

Transliteration

mānuṣye vartamāne tu kṛpaṇaṃ yācitā mayā | na ca te jātasammoḥā vaco gṛhṇanti me hitam ||

Translation

ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನಾನು ಮಾನವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೌರವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ದಿವ್ಯಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸದೆ ಮೊದಲು ದೀನಭಾವದಿಂದ ಸಂಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಮೋಹಗ್ರಸ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹಿತವಚನವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
