अहोरात्रपरिक्षेपं शीतोष्णपरिमण्डलम्‌ | सुखदु:खान्तसंश्लेषं क्षुत्पिपासावकीलकम्‌

Transliteration

ahorātraparikṣepaṃ śītoṣṇaparimaṇḍalam | sukhaduḥkhāntasaṃśleṣaṃ kṣutpipāsāvakīlakam ||

Translation

ವಾಯುದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ದೇಹಧಾರಿತ್ವವು ಹಗಲು-ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಚಕ್ರದಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ಶೀತ-ಉಷ್ಣ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯಿಂದ ಆವೃತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಸುಖ-ದುಃಖಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಗ-ವಿಯೋಗದಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಹಸಿವು-ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಅಡ್ಡಿಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
