कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्

संस्कारै: संस्कृत: पूर्व यथावच्चरितव्रत: । जातौ गुणविशिष्टायां समावर्तेत तत्त्ववित्‌

Transliteration

saṃskāraiḥ saṃskṛtaḥ pūrvaṃ yathāvac caritavrataḥ | jātau guṇaviśiṣṭāyāṃ samāvarteta tattvavit ||

Translation

ಮೊದಲು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತನಾಗಿ, ವೇದೋಕ್ತ ನಿಯಮದಂತೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚರ್ಯ ವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಯಥಾವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ನಂತರ ತತ್ತ್ವವೇತ್ತನು ಸಮಾವರ್ತನ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಾಹವಾಗಿ ಗೃಹಸ್ಥಾಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬೇಕು.
