Brahmā’s Enumeration of Primacies (Ādi) and the Supremacy of Knowledge
Jñāna
आदिर्विश्वस्थ जगतो विष्णुर्ब्रह्ममयो महान् | भूतं परतरं यस्मात् त्रैलोक्ये नेह विद्यते,सम्पूर्ण जगत्के आदिकारण ब्रह्मस्वरूप महाविष्णु हैं। तीनों लोकोंमें उनसे बढ़कर दूसरा कोई प्राणी नहीं है
ādir viśvasya jagato viṣṇur brahmamayo mahān | bhūtaṃ parataraṃ yasmāt trailokye neha vidyate ||
ವಾಯುನುಡಿದನು—ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಆದಿಕಾರಣ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ಮಹಾವಿಷ್ಣು. ತ್ರಿಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಉನ್ನತನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse asserts Viṣṇu’s absolute supremacy: He is the primordial cause of the cosmos and identical in essence with Brahman, so no higher being exists within the three worlds.
