Book 14, Chapter 43
दीक्षितानां तथा यज्ञो दैवानां मघवा तथा । दिशामुदीची विप्राणां सोमो राजा प्रतापवान्
dīkṣitānāṃ tathā yajño daivānāṃ maghavā tathā | diśām udīcī viprāṇāṃ somo rājā pratāpavān ||
ದೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇ ಅಧಿಪತಿ; ದೇವತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಘವಾ (ಇಂದ್ರ) ಅಧಿಪತಿ. ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕೇ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯವಂತದು; ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಾಪವಂತ ಸೋಮರಾಜನೇ ಪ್ರಧಾನನೆಂದು ಗಣ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
