Adhyāya 40: Brahmā on Mahān (The Great Principle) and the All-Pervading Puruṣa
विष्णुरेवादिसर्गेषु स्वयम्भूर्भवति प्रभु:
viṣṇur evādi-sargeṣu svayambhūr bhavati prabhuḥ |
ವಾಯು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಆದಿಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂಭೂ, ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಪತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಪ್ರಕಟನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಬಾಹ್ಯ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನನಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾದುರ್ಭವಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಬುದ್ಧಿರೂಪ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಅಂತರ್ಯಾಮಿ, ವಿಶ್ವರೂಪ, ಪುರಾಣಪುರುಷ, ಹಿರಣ್ಮಯ ದೇವ, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಪರಮಗತಿ ಆದ ಆ ಪರಮ ಪ್ರಭುವನ್ನು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದವನು, ನಿಜವಾದ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನಾಗಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯ ಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಪರಮ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
