धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
परस्परस्य सुह्दद: परस्परहिते रता: । 'सज्जनो! आप और कौरव चिरकालसे एक साथ रहते आये हैं। आप दोनों एक- दूसरेके सुहृद् हैं और दोनों सदा एक-दूसरेके हितमें तत्पर रहते हैं
parasparasya suhṛdaḥ parasparahite ratāḥ |
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಅವರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸುಹೃದರು; ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಹಿತದಲ್ಲೇ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ‘ಸಜ್ಜನನೇ! ನೀನು ಮತ್ತು ಕೌರವರು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನೀವು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು, ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಸದಾ ಒಬ್ಬರೊಬ್ಬರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣದಲ್ಲೇ ತತ್ಪರರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ।’
