Transliteration

cārayethāś ca satataṃ cārair aviditaḥ paraiḥ | parīkṣitair bahuvidhaiḥ svarāṣṭra-prativāsibhiḥ ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದಂತೆ, ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿತರೂ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಆದ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧದ ಗುಪ್ತಚಾರರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸದಾ ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸು. ಅವರ ಗುಪ್ತ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು, ಶತ್ರು ನಿನ್ನ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸು.
