Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth

माल्यैर्गन्धैश्व विविधैरर्चयित्वा यथाविधि । कुल्यानि तेषां संयोज्य तदाचख्युर्महीपते:,जो लोग राजाकी आज्ञासे हरद्वारमें भेजे गये थे, वे उन तीनोंकी हड्डियोंको संचित करके वहाँसे फिर गंगाजीके तटपर गये। फिर भाँति-भाँतिकी मालाओं और चन्दनोंसे विधिपूर्वक उनकी पूजा की। पूजा करके उन सबको गंगाजीमें प्रवाहित कर दिया। इसके बाद हस्तिनापुरमें लौटकर उन्होंने यह सब समाचार राजाको कह सुनाया

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

mālyair gandhaiś ca vividhair arcayitvā yathāvidhi |

kulyāni teṣāṃ saṃyojya tadācakhyur mahīpateḥ ||

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಾನಾವಿಧ ಮಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರ ಅಸ್ಥಿ-ಅವಶೇಷಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ, ಆ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಭೂಪತಿಯಾದ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
