Nārada’s Exempla of Tapas and Assurance to Dhṛtarāṣṭra (नारदोपदेशः—तपःसिद्ध्युदाहरणम्)
उस समय उन लोगोंमें विचित्र पदों और नाना श्रुतियोंसे युक्त धर्म और अर्थ-सम्बन्धी चर्चाएँ होती रहीं ।।
pāṇḍavās tv abhito mātur dharaṇyāṃ suṣupus tadā | utsṛjya tu mahārhāṇi śayanāni narādhipa ||
ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ನಡುವೆ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಪದಗಳೂ ನಾನಾಶ್ರುತಿಗಳೂ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಧರ್ಮಾರ್ಥಸಂಬಂಧಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ಮುಂದುವರಿದವು. ಆದರೆ, ಹೇ ನರಾಧಿಪ, ಪಾಂಡವರು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಶಯನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯ ಸುತ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದರು.
