स तै: परिवृतो राजा कथाभि: परिनन्द्य तान् अनुजज्ञे सशिष्यान् वै विधिवत् प्रतिपूज्य च,उन सबसे घिरे हुए राजा धृतराष्ट्रने अनेक प्रकारकी बातें करके सबको प्रसन्न किया और शिष्योंसहित ब्राह्मणोंका विधिपूर्वक पूजन करके उन्हें जानेकी अनुमति दी
sa taiḥ parivṛto rājā kathābhiḥ parinandya tān anujajñe saśiṣyān vai vidhivat pratipūjya ca
ಅವರಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದ ರಾಜ ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನು ವಿವಿಧ ಮಧುರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ನಂತರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಡನೆ ಬಂದ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರನ್ನು ವಿಧಿವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಹೊರಡಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದನು।
