Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | etac chrutvā tu vacanaṃ vidurasya yudhiṣṭhiraḥ |

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ವಿದುರನ ಈ ವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ, ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸದ ಕಠಿಣ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಧರ್ಮಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲು ಆ ಹಿತೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದನು।
