Śrāddha-utpatti and Nivāpa–Agni Precedence (श्राद्धोत्पत्तिः—निवापेऽग्निपूर्वकत्वम्)
आधिपत्य॑ व्रजेन्मर्त्यो ज्येष्ठायामपवर्जयन् । नर: कुरुकुलश्रेष्ठ ऋद्धो दमपुर:सर:
ādhipatyaṁ vrajen martyo jyeṣṭhāyām apavarjayan | naraḥ kurukulaśreṣṭha ṛddho damapuraḥsaraḥ ||
ಕುರುಕುಲಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ! ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠಾ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಸಂಯಮಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪಿಂಡದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧ ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಮೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
