धारणे नास्य शक्ताहं गर्भस्य तपतां वर । उत्स्रक्ष्येडहमिमं दुःखान्न तु कामात् कथंचन
dhāraṇe nāsya śaktāhaṃ garbhasya tapatāṃ vara | utsrakṣyed aham imaṃ duḥkhān na tu kāmāt kathaṃcana ||
ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದ ಪಾವಕಾ! ಈಗ ಈ ಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅಸಹ್ಯ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಬಾಧ್ಯಳಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದಲ್ಲ.
