Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

तेजकी राशिभूत अग्निदेवका तुम सब लोग शीघ्र अन्वेषण करो। वे तुम्हारी मनोवांछित कामनाको पूर्ण करेंगे ।।

Transliteration

etad vākyam upaśrutya tato devā mahātmanaḥ | jagmuḥ saṃsiddha-saṅkalpāḥ paryeṣanto vibhāvasum ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು: ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತೇಜೋರಾಶಿರೂಪವಾದ ಅಗ್ನಿದೇವನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಿರಿ; ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೋವಾಂಛಿತ ಕಾಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವನು. ಮಹಾತ್ಮನ ಈ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದೇವತೆಗಳು—ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ದೃಢತೆಯಿಂದ—ವಿಭಾವಸು (ಅಗ್ನಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟರು.
