त्वया हि कुर्वता शास्त्र प्रमाणमिह पार्थिव

Transliteration

tvayā hi kurvatā śāstra-pramāṇam iha pārthiva, pramāṇam upanītā vai sthitāśva na vicālitāḥ |

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹೇ ರಾಜನೇ! ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೆಂದು ಹಿಡಿದು ನಡೆದೆ; ಇದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣ್ಯದ ಮೆರಗು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಯಿತು, ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರರಾದವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಆದರ್ಶದಿಂದ ವಿಚಲಿತರಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
