Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
दृतिकण्ठमनड्वाहं सर्वरत्नैरलंकृतम् । दत्त्वा प्रजापतेलोकान् विशोक: प्रतिपद्यते
dhrtikaṇṭham anaḍvāhaṃ sarvaratnair alaṅkṛtam | dattvā prajāpate lokān viśokaḥ pratipadyate ||
ತೂಗು ಕಂಠಚರ್ಮವಿರುವ, ಗಾಡಿಯ ಭಾರ ಹೊರುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಿರುವ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಎತ್ತನ್ನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಶೋಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಜಾಪತಿಯ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
