Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
धर्मज्ञ पितामह! यह सब मैं यथावत् रूपसे जानना चाहता हूँ। इसके लिये मेरे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | yo vrataṃ vai yathoddiṣṭaṃ tathā sampratipadyate | akhaṇḍaṃ samyag ārabhya tasya lokāḥ sanātanāḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರ, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಥಾವಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದಂತೆ ವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಸಮ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ, ವಿರಾಮವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಖಂಡವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುವವನು—ಸನಾತನ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
