Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
गृहे यस्य वसेत् तुष्ट: प्रधानं लोकमश्रुते । अध्यापक-वंशमें उत्पन्न श्रोत्रिय एवं जितेन्द्रिय ब्राह्मण जिसके दिये हुए घरमें प्रसन्नतासे रहता है, उसे श्रेष्ठ लोक प्राप्त होते हैं
gṛhe yasya vaset tuṣṭaḥ pradhānaṃ lokam aśnute |
ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ, ಶ್ರೋತ್ರಿಯನೂ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರಿಯನೂ ಆದ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನು ಯಾರ ದಾನಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಆ ದಾತನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
