श्रवणे कम्बलं दत्त्वा वस्त्रान्तरितमेव वा । श्वेतेन याति यानेन स्वर्गलोकानसंवृतान्
śravaṇe kambalaṃ dattvā vastrāntaritameva vā | śvetena yāti yānena svargalokān asaṃvṛtān ||
ನಾರದನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಶ್ರವಣ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿವಿಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಉಣ್ಣೆಯ ಕಂಬಳಿಯನ್ನು ದಾನಮಾಡುವವನು—ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ ಅಥವಾ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊದಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ—ಶ್ವೇತ ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿ, ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
