Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
तत्र दिव्यानभिप्रायान् ददर्श कुशिकस्तदा । पर्वतान् रूप्यसानूंश्व नलिनीश्व सपड़कजा:
tatra divyān abhiprāyān dadarśa kuśikas tadā | parvatān rūpyasānūṁś ca nalinīś ca sapaṅkajāḥ ||
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಶಿಕನು ದಿವ್ಯಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಅದ್ಭುತ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು—ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಂತಿರುವ ಇಳಿಜಾರಿನ ಪರ್ವತಗಳು, ಪದ್ಮ-ನೀಲೋತ್ಪಲಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಸರೋವರಗಳು; ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಶುಭಮಯವಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತ ಗುರಿಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುವಂತಿತ್ತು.
