तमुदारं महासत्त्वमतिमानुषचेष्टितम्‌ । समदुःखसुखं दृष्टवा विस्मित: पाकशासन:

Transliteration

tam udāraṁ mahāsattvam atimānuṣaceṣṭitam | samaduḥkhasukhaṁ dṛṣṭvā vismitaḥ pākaśāsanaḥ ||

Translation

ಆ ಉದಾರ, ಮಹಾಸತ್ತ್ವವಂತ, ಮಾನವಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದಂತೆ ತೋರುವ ಆಚರಣೆಯುಳ್ಳ, ದುಃಖ-ಸುಖಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಭಾವ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಗಿಳಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಪಾಕಶಾಸನ ಇಂದ್ರನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡನು.
