Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ

Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra

एवमेव मनुष्येन्द्र भक्तिमन्तं समाश्रित: । सर्वार्थसिद्धि लभते शुकं प्राप्य यथा द्रुम:

Transliteration

evam eva manuṣyendra bhaktimantaṁ samāśritaḥ | sarvārthasiddhiṁ labhate śukaṁ prāpya yathā drumaḥ ||

Translation

ಓ ನರೇಂದ್ರ! ಭಕ್ತಿಮಂತನಾದ ಶುಕನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷವು ಎಲ್ಲ ಮನೋರಥಗಳ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಂತೆ, ಭಕ್ತಿಸಂಪನ್ನನಾದ ಪುರುಷನ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆದವನು ಸರ್ವಾರ್ಥಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
