मही प्रचलिता चासीत् तस्य सत्येन कर्मणा । सारा शुभ्र आकाश सब ओससे मेघोंद्वारा आच्छादित हो गया। उनके सत्यकर्मके प्रभावसे पृथ्वी काँपने लगी
mahī pracalitā cāsīt tasya satyena karmaṇā |
ಅವನ ಸತ್ಯನಿಷ್ಠ ಕರ್ಮದ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ ನಡುಗಿ ಚಲಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಈ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತವು ಧರ್ಮದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ—ಸತ್ಯವು ಅಚಲ ಆಚರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದಾಗ, ಅದು ಕೇವಲ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಗುಣವಲ್ಲ; ಲೋಕಕ್ರಮವನ್ನೇ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
