ऋग्गवेदे वर्तते चाग्रया श्रुतिर्यस्थ महात्मन:

Transliteration

ṛgvede vartate cāgrayā śrutir yatra mahātmanaḥ |

Translation

ಋಗ್ವೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ, ಅಗ್ರಗಣ್ಯವಾದ ಶ್ರುತಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜನೇ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರು ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಗೃತ್ಸಮದನನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರ್ಷಿ ಗೃತ್ಸಮದನು ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚರ್ಯನಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದನು.
