Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
हंसारावै: कोकरवै रवैरन्यैश्व पक्षिणाम् । पस्पर्थ गज गन्धर्वान् पुलिनैश्व शिलोच्चयान्
haṃsārāvaiḥ kokaravaiḥ ravair anyaiś ca pakṣiṇām | paspartha gaṅgā gandharvān pulinaiś ca śiloccayān ||
ಹಂಸಗಳ ಮಧುರ ನಾದ, ಚಕ್ರವಾಕ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಸುವಿಮಲ ಸ್ವರ, ಇತರ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಕಲರವಗಳಿಂದ ಗಂಗೆಯು ಗಂಧರ್ವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಎತ್ತರದ ಪುಲಿನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತೀರಗಳಿಂದ ಶಿಲಾಶಿಖರಗಳಾದ ಪರ್ವತೋನ್ನತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ।
