Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
यथा सुराणाममृतं पितृणां च यथा स्वधा । सुधा यथा च नागानां तथा गड्भाजलं नृणाम्
yathā surāṇām amṛtaṃ pitṝṇāṃ ca yathā svadhā | sudhā yathā ca nāgānāṃ tathā gaṅgā-jalaṃ nṛṇām ||
ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಮೃತ, ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಧಾ, ನಾಗರಿಗೆ ಸುಧಾ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಗಂಗಾಜಲವೇ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿದೆ।
