तीर्थवंशोपदेशः
Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
भीष्म उवाच दैवं पौर्वाह्निकं कुर्यादपराह्ने तु पैतृकम् मड़लाचारसम्पन्न: कृतशौच: प्रयत्नवान्
bhīṣma uvāca: daivaṃ paurvāhṇikaṃ kuryād aparāhṇe tu paitṛkam | maṅgalācāra-sampannaḥ kṛtaśaucaḥ prayatnavān ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಪೂರ್ವಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕರ್ಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಅಪರಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿತೃಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕರ್ಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸ್ನಾನಾದಿ ಶೌಚವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ಮಂಗಳಾಚಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತನಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
