अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
ये त्वेवंगुणजातीयास्तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम् | सहस्रगुणमाप्रोति गुणाहाय प्रदायक:
ye tv evaṁguṇajātīyās tebhyo dattaṁ mahāphalam | sahasraguṇam āpnoti guṇāhāya pradāyakaḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಇಂತಹ ಗುಣಗಳಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತರಾದವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ದಾನ ಮಹಾಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಗುಣವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ದಾತನು ಸಹಸ್ರಗುಣ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
