यजनं बहुशश्चाग्नौ जगु: सामानि सामगा: । ततश्चन्दनकाष्ठैश्ष तथा कालीयकैरपि

Transliteration

yajanaṃ bahuśaścāgnau jaguḥ sāmāni sāmagāḥ | tataścandanakāṣṭhaiś ca tathā kālīyakair api ||

Translation

ಸಾಮಗಾನ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನಃಪುನಃ ಆಹುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಸಾಮಮಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಚಂದನಕಾಷ್ಠಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಳೀಯಕಾದಿ ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ (ಅಗ್ನಿಗೆ) ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು।
