यथा पाण्डो: सुता राज॑स्तथैव तव धर्मत: । तान् पालय स्थितो धर्मे गुरुशुश्रूषणे रतान्
yathā pāṇḍoḥ sutā rājas tathaiva tava dharmataḥ | tān pālaya sthito dharme guruśuśrūṣaṇe ratān |
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ರಾಜನೇ, ಅವರು ಪಾಂಡುನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಧರ್ಮದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನವರೂ ಹೌದು. ಅವರು ಸದಾ ಗುರುಜನರ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರಂತೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಪೋಷಿಸು.
