Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca |

karandhamo naraśreṣṭhaḥ kathadhmorakṣa narādhipaḥ |

dakṣo 'mbharīṣaḥ kukuro raivataś ca mahāyaśāḥ ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—(ಮುಂದೆ) ಈ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ರಾಜರ್ಷಿಗಳ ನಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ—ನರಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕರಂಧಮ, ನರಾಧಿಪ ಕಥಧ್ಮೋರ; ದಕ್ಷ, ಅಂಬರೀಷ, ಕುಕುರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಯಶಸ್ವಿ ರೈವತ.
