उत्तरां दिशमश्रित्य य एधन्ते निबोध तान्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | uttarāṃ diśam āśritya ye edhante nibodha tān | ṛṣir ugraśravāś caiva bhārgavaś cyavanas tathā ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಪಡೆಯುವವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ—ಋಷಿ ಉಗ್ರಶ್ರವ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರ್ಗವ ಚ್ಯವನ.
