सिद्धार्थकारी सिद्धार्थश्छन्दोव्याकरणोत्तर: । सिंहनाद: सिंहदंष्ट: सिंहग: सिंहवाहन:

Transliteration

siddhārthakārī siddhārthaś chandovyākaraṇottaraḥ | siṃhanādaḥ siṃhadamṣṭraḥ siṃhagaḥ siṃhavāhanaḥ ||

Translation

ವಾಯುದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಅವನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವವನು, ಸ್ವತಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತ ಸತ್ಯಸ್ವರೂಪನು; ವೈದಿಕ ಛಂದಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಕರಣಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು. ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವವನು, ಸಿಂಹಸಮಾನ ದಂಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವವನು, ಸಿಂಹಾರೂಢನಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವವನು, ಸಿಂಹವೇ ಅವನ ವಾಹನ—ಧರ್ಮಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿತ ಅಜೇಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ರೂಪಕಗಳು ಇವು.
