बलवांश्वोपशान्तश्न पुराण: पुण्यचज्चुरी । कुरुकर्ता कुरुवासी कुरुभूतो गुणीषध:

Transliteration

balavān śvopaśāntaś ca purāṇaḥ puṇyacakṣuḥ | īśaḥ kurukartā kuruvāsī kurubhūto guṇauṣadhaḥ ||

Translation

ವಾಯುದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅವನು ಬಲವಂತನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಶಾಂತಸ್ವರೂಪನು; ಆದಿಪುರುಷನು; ಪುಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ತಿಳಿಯಬಲ್ಲ ಧರ್ಮನೇತ್ರದಂತೆ; ಕರುಣಾಮಯ ಪ್ರಭು—ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಕರ್ತೃ, ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವಾಸಿ, ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಸ್ವರೂಪವೇ; ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನ-ವೈರಾಗ್ಯಾದಿ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಔಷಧಿಯಂತೆ.
