दरिद्रं व्याधितं दीनमध्वना परिकर्शितम् | पतिं पुत्रमिवोषपास्ते सा नारी धर्मभागिनी
daridraṁ vyādhitaṁ dīnam adhvanā parikarśitam | patiṁ putram ivoṣapāste sā nārī dharmabhāginī ||
ಮಹೇಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಪತಿ ದರಿದ್ರನಾಗಿರಲಿ, ರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ, ದೀನನಾಗಿರಲಿ, ದಾರಿಯ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಗ್ಗಿರಲಿ—ಅವನನ್ನು ಮಗನಂತೆ ಉಪಾಸಿಸಿ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೇ ಧರ್ಮಭಾಗಿನಿ.
