दक्षे शमदमोपेते निर्ममे धर्मचारिणि । पृच्छामि त्वां वरारोहे पृष्टा वद ममेप्सितम्‌

Transliteration

dakṣe śamadamopete nirmame dharmacāriṇi | pṛcchāmi tvāṃ varārohe pṛṣṭā vada mamepsitam ||

Translation

ಹೇ ದಕ್ಷೆ, ಶಮದಮೋಪೇತೇ, ನಿರ್ಮಮೇ, ಧರ್ಮಚಾರಿಣಿ! ಹೇ ವರಾರೋಹೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದುದನ್ನು ಹೇಳು.
